Demba Ba was about £2.5m so he was a decent purchase for the price but we got fuck all for him when he left for Newcastle.

In Jim Smith's biography he says that he was trying to sign Trevor Sinclair for Derby and phoned Harry to ask his opinion of him, they were good mates. Harry told him that he should never sign a player who had such a huge arse. Harry signed Tricky Trev two days later.

Adrian and Randolph were both very good value, in my opinion.
To be honest, IMO Payet will be up there if we can sell him for over 25 million. 15 mill profit and one hell of a memorable season in one of the most important in our history, regardless of how it's ending, there are some superb memories there.

If we end up making a 20 million notes profit on Payet, that would be pretty decent value considering when he wasn't being a massive cunt, he was fairly decent.
Actually think there are quite a few in the current team who have been magnificent value.
